Clichy - July 2, 2019 – Amazon today announces that the company plans to create 1,800 new full time jobs in France in 2019, increasing its workforce from 7,500 to over 9,300 by the end of the year. The company plans to grow its France-based workforce as it continues to deliver innovative shopping and entertainment experiences for customers. Amazon will also empower entrepreneurs and businesses that are capitalizing on its infrastructure and services to accelerate their success in France and abroad.
Many of the positions will be spread across the 20 sites in France, including Amazon’s existing network of six fulfillment centers, with the newest one to be launched later this summer in Bretigny-sur-Orge, and Amazon last mile delivery stations, as well as the company’s offices in Clichy and La Défense. These positions cover various levels of experience, training and skills, including logistics operations officers, experienced engineers as well as business school graduates.
