Across Europe, we are offering a new way for artisans like jewelry-makers and potters to grow their businesses online.
“Handmade at Amazon” is a dedicated store on our five European retail websites that features over 30,000 handcrafted products sold by artisans, with hundreds of items being added daily.
Handmade at Amazon features over 1,000 European craft workers showcasing their products for millions of Amazon customers who can now select from thousands of items spanning jewellery, home decor, unique artwork, items for the kitchen and dining room, and also furniture for their homes. It’s also possible to personalize around a third of the items available. Artisans can use special tools and reports to help manage their business and can personalize their storefront with an “Artisan Profile” allowing them to connect and share their story with customers and also showcase their work.
With Handmade at Amazon, artisans can grow their business.
“We’re bringing together many of the best artisans from across Europe. With Handmade at Amazon, artisans can grow their business - and many of them will be able to turn their passion into a career,” explains Francois Saugier, vice president for Amazon seller services in Europe, on the introduction of this program.
To celebrate the launch of Handmade at Amazon coming to European customers today, we are hosting events in the UK, Germany and France to showcase selected artisans and their handcrafted products.
