Amazon announces the first Fire TV Edition products for Germany and Austria in collaboration with some of the most well-known brands. These products include the world's first Fire TV Edition Smart-TV with far-field voice control, the first Fire TV Edition Smart-TV with OLED technology and the first Fire TV Edition Soundbar.

Fire TV Edition devices are characterized by an integrated Fire TV experience as well as continuous improvements - be it new Alexa skills, software functions or applications. There are already thousands of apps, Alexa Skills and channels available today that provide impressive entertainment and allow playback and control of compatible smart home devices such as networked cameras, lamps or security systems. Fire TV Edition products can also be paired with an echo device for hands-free voice control. Customers can ask Alexa to start a show, find a good movie, control playback and more.
Fire TV Edition Smart-TVs are coming to Germany and Austria
Following the success of the Fire TV Edition in the USA and Canada, Amazon announces joint plans with Grundig and MediaMarktSaturn to bring the next generation of Fire TV Edition smart TVs to Germany and Austria.
Grundig Fire TV Edition Smart TVs
Grundig presented a range of Fire TV Edition Smart TVs for Germany and Austria, including the world's first Fire TV Edition television with far-field voice control and the first Fire TV Edition Smart TV with OLED technology. These televisions combine live TV and streaming content on the home screen. If the TV is connected to an HD antenna (DVB-T2 HD), a cable (DVB-C) or a satellite service (DVB-S2) or if streaming apps such as waipu.tv, Pluto TV or Red Bull TV are used, customers can ask Alexa to search for live TV and switch the channels. To stream even more live TV content, customers can also subscribe to Prime Video channels such as Eurosport Player, MGM or Starzplay. The apps from Netflix, Prime Video, ARD, ZDF, ProSieben, DAZN and many other providers also offer a huge selection of movies and TV shows.
The Grundig OLED - Fire TV Edition Smart TVs are particularly slim TVs with a 55 or 65 inch Ultra HD display. OLED technology and Dolby Vision* create an impressive entertainment experience with deep black and rich colors. Even with fast movements, details are clearly and sharply displayed. Compatible content is displayed with an extended colour gamut thanks to HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support.
The Grundig OLED - Fire TV Edition Smart TVs come with a voice remote with Alexa, so customers can control their entertainment program, compatible smart home devices and TV inputs via voice. Grundig OLED - Fire TV Edition Smart TVs are also available with far-field voice control. With the Grundig OLED - Fire TV Edition Hands-Free with Alexa televisions, eight microphones, directional beam technology and Alexa enable far-field voice control of the entertainment programme in the living room.

Grundig will also unveil two LED TVs with integrated Fire TV experience. Grundig Vision 7 - Fire TV Edition with Ultra HD resolution is available in black, titanium or white. Customers can choose from four display sizes: 43, 49, 55 or 65 inches. The Grundig Vision 6 - Fire TV Edition with Full HD resolution is available in 32, 40 and 43 inches as well as in black or white. All models can be controlled with Alexa via the voice remote control. Fire TV Edition Smart TVs
Amazon and IMTRON, a MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group company responsible for the private labels of MediaMarkt and Saturn, announced plans for a line-up of Fire TV Edition smart TVs. The first models of the own brand will be available in Germany and Austria next year.

The first Fire TV Edition Soundbar
Amazon introduces a completely new product category - the Fire TV Edition Soundbar. The Fire TV Experience is integrated directly into the soundbar system. This enables a comprehensive home cinema experience with video streaming and premium sound in just one device. The Fire TV Edition Soundbar can even be integrated into a multi-room group via the Alexa app, allowing music from Amazon Music and other services to run as part of the group in the entire home.
Fire TV Edition Soundbar with Anker Innovations
The first Fire TV Edition Soundbar is from Anker Innovations and Amazon, who jointly announce the Nebula Soundbar - Fire TV Edition. This enables a cineastic smart TV experience with room-filling sound on every television set thanks to 4K Ultra HD support, uniform smart TV user interface, near-field voice control with Alexa and Dolby Vision pass through. With Alexa's included voice remote, customers can control Fire TV Experience, turn compatible TVs on and off, and control sound bar functions such as on/off, volume, and mute. The Grundig OLED - Fire TV Edition Hands-Free with Alexa television in 55 or 65 inches can be ordered in advance from 1,299.99 euros on Amazon.de. The delivery of both models starts on 21 November. The Grundig vision 6 - Fire TV edition television set in 32, 40 or 43 inches can be ordered in advance immediately starting from 239,99 euro on Amazon.de. All models are delivered starting from 1 November.
The Nebula Soundbar - Fire TV edition can be pre-ordered immediately for 209.99 euro on Amazon.de and is delivered starting from 21 October.
