We’ll present the “Made in Italy” program, featuring Italian entrepreneurs and policymakers from many locations, from Bologna to Sicily.
Fabio Massimo Castaldo will be introducing his views as Vice-President of the European Parliament.
Mariangela Marseglia, Vice President Amazon Italy & Spain will open the event with a keynote speech on the evolution of the Italian ecommerce market as well as the characteristics of the “Made in Italy” program and how we engage with sellers.
Carlo Ferro, President of the Italian Trade agency (ITA), will talk about our recent partnership to empower Italian small and medium-sized enterprises through our “Made in Italy” program, and to promote Italian culture and entrepreneurship across multiple global Amazon sites.
Members of the European Parliament Tiziana Beghin and Alessandro Panza will also participate in the discussion on how Italian producers can boost their one-line sales selling to millions of customers around the world.
Marco Zullo and Pierfrancesco Majorino, Members of European Parliament, Stefano Da Empoli, President I-Com, Institute for Competitiveness, Daniele Cappato Head of Seller Services at Amazon and Simona Maria Bandiera owner of Lovedoormat will participate in a panel debate around these themes.
And we’ll also hear directly from small firms. We’ll be joined by eight “Made in Italy” entrepreneurs and the Italian author Federico Maria Rivalta, who uses our publishing services.
During the cocktail reception, there will also be a specially-created Italian market featuring these entrepreneurs. The fashion corner will host the cashmere brand Dalle Piane Cashmere, Chicca Borse handbags and Luchetta 1953 jewels. Sicilian delicacies Rarezze, Oilala organic oil and Emilia Food Love specialized in traditional products from Emilia-Romagna region. Author Federico Maria Peralta will present his books next to the home decoration area with Callea Design and Lovedoormat.
