This new certification highlights our initiatives to enable employees to begin and further develop their careers in a fulfilling work environment. The program has certified and recognized over 1,857 organizations in 123 countries and regions across five continents.
The HR Best Practices Survey comprises 100-plus questions on the following topics: talent strategy, workforce planning, talent acquisition, diversity and inclusion, on-boarding, learning and skills development, performance management, leadership development, career and succession management, compensation and benefits and culture.

In Italy and Spain, we achieved the certification for the second year in a row, and in France for the third time.
The certification covers all of Amazon’s activities for those countries where we have created tens of thousands of jobs for people from a variety of backgrounds, career aspirations, education, and skill levels – from workers and entry-level positions to engineers, software developers and cloud experts.
Amazon in Poland received the certification for the first time, endorsing our commitment to our fulfillment center employees throughout the country. Since 2014 we have created over 25,000 permanent jobs in Poland providing excellent job opportunities within an inclusive, safe and modern workplace.
In these countries, employees at our logistic centers can also access the Career Choice program, through which the company supports them in accessing training in their field of choice.
